Spiderhost Merges with tekGIANTS, Creates One-Stop IT Shop for Central Florida

Orlando area IT firms merge to become a one-stop provider of help desk support, networking, data center space, web design, hosting, and virtual office.

Orlando, FL – Spiderhost, a Lake Mary-based IT partner, today announced a merger with tekGIANTS, an IT support and consulting firm based in Altamonte Springs.

Spiderhost, established in 1998, provides high-speed Ethernet, managed services, and custom websites, while tekGIANTS, a six-year old company, provides help desk support, networking, and computer maintenance and repair.  Together the companies will be able to offer the full spectrum of front-end and back-end IT and computer services.

tekGIANTS will continue to operate under its own name and retain its full-time employees, and will now operate out of Spiderhost’s offices in Lake Mary.  CEO Tony Greco is looking forward to having more services available to his clients. 

“We can now offer clients not only technical expertise, but a higher level of support with Spiderhost’s network and infrastructure; more back-end reliability with their data centers; and access to web design, hosting, virtual office, and managed services – things we weren’t offering before,” says Greco.

Spiderhost president Dale Frohman is looking forward to leveraging tekGIANTS’ technical expertise. 

Adds Frohman, “We’re getting a new highly-skilled tech support staff.  Yeah, we’re excited about that!”
